Development on Concept 2

We decided that the song 'The Pipers Song by Gypsy and the Cat' was too upbeat and didn't really go with our concept of having a bit of a dark side to the video. Looking around for music we all liked the track Numb which is originally by Linkin Park but it is a remix by H320 (remix Dubstep) . Here is the link to the song, there is no music video for this particular version which is immediately good because there will be no comparisons. However the original song does have a good music video - this is not the reason we chose a remix - the reason we chose the remix was because there was more of a surreal element to it which went with the concept that we thought of as we wanted it to be quite abstract.




We still like the idea of filming underwater as it is inivative, a bit different and we want some of the shots to look really beautiful. We looked on youtube for videos looking like the idea that we had. Here below is something along the lines of what we want it to look like. We watched this video (below) with the song above playing and it really worked well together therefore this shows us that the concept and song mix well together - unlike before when they were a bit contrasting.



We also thought that these shots (below) were really intersting as you could see her reflection. We want to experiment with reflections in the video and slow motion. We are steering away from doing just a narrative and wanting to make it a bit more arty and visual. We are liking the idea of having material around the girl in the water.



This picture (below) really goes with the idea of the video (two above) its the same colours and there is amagical feel to it. Also she is looking beautiful underwater which is something we want to capture.
